#throwback #graduation2014
Juniors graduated today. Thus, it's been a year since I've graduated, and so, my gap year is officially ending. Looking back at this entire gap year, it does feel surreal that one year flew so quickly, as tho we just graduated only a while back. Yet so much of my memories have been engraved within this one year and now as I think back, I really didn't regret the choice of choosing this gap year to find my life, to find my purposes, to try out new stuff and to disconnect with the norm of Singaporeans for a little while- while trying to find my exact true self.
In the initial plan of my gap year was basically plan-less because I got kicked out from the norm without warning, after days of praying. And as I reject my initial uni offer letter, I didn't quite know what's gonna happen to me.
However, as I took this gap year, I think the best thing I've ever did was really to travel. Both leisurely and missionary, I find myself having an entirely new perspective of looking at life in a macro way. In lay man terms, looking at life in a bigger picture. There is so much more to a fruitful life beyond our confined zone of comfort. And instead of just staying in the midst of comfort, there are so much more adventures out there waiting for us to ride on.
Yea lets get out and ride on this adventure that God has set in front of us! :D
