  Who lives in my garden

In the midst of washing the plates, you heard a knock on your garden gate.
There was a commotion that you don't know about, so you went out to take a look,
And you saw the angels at your house getting rid of a seemingly innocent being outside the door, saying
"let me in".

Recently I've been receiving a lot of news that got me broken hearted, peers dwelling deep into hurts, resorting to temporary pleasures of the world, dwelling into anxiety and anxiousness.

Yes we all tried, we struggle to live right and we tried getting these pains outta us.
But is there a way out? I asked God.

I always believed that believers have two kinds of beings that conflicts beneath our thoughts. The spirit of God, and the devil. Before we accept Jesus into our lives, satan can come in and out of our garden of thoughts freely, because the spirit of God did not live in us. Yet on the very day when we accept Jesus into our life, Jesus lives in our garden of thoughts, and His angels surrounds and protects. Satan definitely has no foothold in entering my garden. And the God that lives in me, can crush Satan under my feet. Easily.

"The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you" Romans 16:20.

Yet because we all have freewill, sometimes we unknowingly chose to allow satan to come into our garden. Because it tempts you by saying "let me in". We all get temptations, even Jesus get tempted by the devil at the wilderness.

But we need to know and acknowledge that God didn't give us negative thoughts, neither did He give us sickness. Obviously these thoughts wasn't from God, but it came inside you only when you allowed it to enter into your garden, and you start feeding it, it builds its nest in your garden. When I start feeding sin, I allow sin to live in my garden of thoughts. When I start feeding negativity, I allow negativity to live in my garden of thoughts... just when I believed that this temporary fulfillment of my needs can satisfy, I am allowing satan to come in.

Sometimes it felt unintentional that sin came in, sometimes we regret when it happens, and we dwell deeper and deeper into hurts.

But Jesus was saying, Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing. And they cast lots, dividing up His garments among themselves.  -Luke 22:34

However, God always forgives when we repent. This forgiveness comes along with grace and comfort each time we knew we needed to get satan out of our garden. And God always gives us the power to do so, in the name of Jesus. Long before we even repented, Jesus already prayed for forgiveness on our behalf. What an amazing grace.
