Blessed since born.
I had the most awesome nanny & her family in the world. Someone who continued to care for me even when mom stopped paying her when I was 2, who brought me overseas every year since P3, who brings me out for shopping on weekends, and watch me grow up while I watch her age.
We are of no blood relation.
And that's unconditional love.
She'd earned all my respect, and deep deep in my heart, the 5th commandment applies to her.
Short short vacayyyyyyyyyyyyy to KL > Genting.
Even though Malaysia bores me but I'm enjoying my every moments I could find to thrust all things away, and simply just hypernate away from stress... turmoil... and unease.
Felt like this trip became an extended time of fellowship with God, where I could push aside all the pending thoughts and start evaluating upon my walk with Him. I think God really opened my eyes to see the many blessings in my life, and even blessed since born. My heart refreshes at the thoughts of the blessings God has placed over me, the protection, the guardian angels in my life, and in every life stations, good friends who builds me up. :')
Sometimes we drowned ourselves into self pity when a wave crashes over us, we forgot to count these blessings in our lives. I think it's completely normal to dwell into self pity whenever our esteem is affected, but I was thinking if we ever start counting the blessings we possess than the setbacks we hold, will situations eventually be turned around? Blessings are a pillar of strength, a comfort that eases our heart, an assurance from God. If we truly believe that God didn't place problems in our lives to harm us, but instead to grow us and to mould us into better people, then these setbacks are truly blessings in disguise.
