Totally missing it.
Celebrating Liling's birthday yesterday after service! :D I'm feeling super apologetic that we only realised it was her birthday after Joyce's post on instagram. :( Sorry liling but hope the last minute plan was quite a good one. :) Managed to get the new LG involved in this planning and I'm happy it was our first time planning something together ^_^
And met ma lovely peeps after service yesterday! I miss them so so so much and 3 years in poly together is just not enough for me :(
I had a good week, starting from a good worship session with Dillon, Jloi & Jinfeng before JLoi flies back to Melbourne, and our very first formal LG to KN's birthday chalet to meeting up the clique last night. ^_^

I love how God always reveals things to me, even if they are unpleasant ones that is related to my own character and attitude. I love how God ministers to me with His tangible presence every night during QT and even when I am on my way to somewhere alone. That is why I love travelling alone, or have my me-time at night. (sounds like a super introvert though lol) I was reminded again and again that the reason why I felt so dry when I was having my 5 month internship in Hangzhou was because I didn't have my discipline of doing QT everyday. To totally understand how this feels, Pastor Jeff explains it all yesterday during our service on distractions.
And it goes something like this: PAY Attention = we pay our time to be attentive to someone, because he/she is valuable to you. I couldn't help it but evaluate my own walk with God, realising that only when I gave my 100% to God that I was able to hear so much from Him. And only when God is valuable in my heart, that I gave my 100% attention to Him when He speaks. To be attentive inside out reminded me not to be a Christian by sight, but a Christian by faith. And that means not to "act like a Christian and serve God in church like a Christian" without an intimate walk with God, but to first have a close walk with God, before serving God in various ministries. Really thank God for speaking this into my heart, especially during this time when I am trying to explore various ministries in Church.
