How many people ever believed that Society can ruin a person's mind? Been hearing a lot from lecture about how the hospitality industry actually picked only pretty girls and handsome guys to work at the front desk to uphold the image of the branding- that even a supersized lady whom once applied for Front Desk and got rejected. And it caught me thinking.... How many of us out there actually tried to change ourselves because we needed the approval from society? How many girls out there are desperate to lose as much weight as they could because they felt that they are too fat to be accepted by the society, and ending up with Eating Disorders? How many people actually engage in things such as smoking, clubbing, gossiping, studying day and night and becoming so depressed, just because they needed the approval and be in the same frequency from their peers? Me myself, am vulnerable to influences. Me myself, am vulnerable to seek the acceptance of Society. But I'm thankful that God has saved me and assured me of his great providence through the Word and many life changing testimonies. Not yet entirely, but constant breakthroughs as I seek Him every LG meet, every service, and every night. I'm thankful for God's grace.
