Can you imagine, 15 more days to Hangzhou.... 7 am flight (thats too early!)
Throughout the entire study week I felt peace from God, assuring me that as long as I do my best, God will do the rest. Even though I was dead exhausted from the hours of studying, God encouraged me and strengthened me through awesome people who gave me study snack pack, milo and my mom for forcing me to drink prune essence everyday. And of course, I made time off to spend time with my lifegroup, with clique 09, with bugis gang, with Kelly, with the postcard project people, shepherding session with Jin Feng and also meeting up with Joey! Even though each of the time spend was only for awhile or most of the time was unproductive studying, but it was a worthwhile. :)
Oh and so, postcard project was a success!! PTL!
Despite the hectic and torturous modules to study over project week, I thank God for his providence of time and especially place to conduct this postcard project finale!
So this postcard project started off when God gave his calling to Candy to call upon 10 HTM christians to come together to write postcards to encourage those who are on a next step to accepting God into their life and also christians that have been on distance from God for quite a while. It started off two months back where Candy called me and shared with me her calling. I thank God for her courage and the Holy Spirit for anointing her and directing her steps to calling that 10 people to form "HTM CHAYAH" and then through prayers which identified 16 HTM-ers whom God wishes to present the postcards to.
(plus Janice and Felicia not in the picture)
I can really see God working through this postcard project, even though sometimes we might have a lot of uncertainties, "what if nobody comes, what if nobody appreciates, what if nobody that we invited to like it and blablabla" but from this I finally understood the quote saying "we don't have to understand to obey", because one day, God will reveal the answer.
And God indeed revealed his answer. As I was having uncertainties of the event, God assured me during worship service that He is in control of everything and I referred God's assurance to Candy whom have certain thoughts of giving up. I'm glad that the 10 of us took that step of Faith to carry on this event even though people who were invited might not be close to us, might be unfamiliar with us, but even the most shy who were invited came for the event. There is no such thing as coincidence. God is behind everything.
That night we had one salvation. :') How God spoke to Bong to have that impromptu altar call, He knows there is someone within us who is ready to accept His love. Angels in heaven is jumping for joy at this one salvation, and so are our hearts. :') Tears of joy came. God, I can finally see your work being done.
That night we also get to witnessed healing amongst us by Candy's parent who are in the healing ministry, legs that are not aligned (one long one short) was being healed instantaneously at the cry of "in Jesus name". It was my first time experiencing miracles, and this miracles happened to every single one with legs not aligned, including Bong's legs which was super unaligned. Even Ivan's legs were healed! I'm super happy because it was His second encounter with God's supernatural powers! *Jumps for joy* Wakakakakaka!!
So we ended off the event with seeds planted in everybody's hearts and distant christians coming back to God through the movie or the altar call or the healing session. I'm glad. :') And no, this project ain't gonna end here, because God says it is just the beginning.....
