So we've survived the entire week of a chaotic Haze, that despite the hazardous haze I eventually got out of the house everyday for LG, project meetings and site visits. Life moves on ya~
I got to see the many sides of the people in Singapore through this Hazy week. Kind locals on the go, distributing masks to the elderly and the low income families, and heart warming news of even my dad distributing all his masks to his passengers (and getting scolded by my mom lol).
At the same time, selfish and self-centered retail shops and clinics eventually used this opportunity to inflate the price of the masks! It's just so disheartened to see everybody whom left with no choice but to queue up for a $3.95 mask (usual price was only $1+) Like hello?! Price elasticity of the masks shot up instantly but this doesn't mean to drop your compassion and empathy for others just because of money making opportunities. Same goes for businesses that caused the Indonesia fire.. everything started just for the need of land, and money......
Pondered about God's response to His creations who failed to glorify Him. No matter how much man fails to glorify God, no matter what God plans to punish man, His Love for us never fails, and God remains faithful and He is always there in just a prayer away! ^_^
A good way to end my hectic and busy holiday with my all time fav M.O.F dessert hehehe.
