 Last week of Holidays, and my week's schedule is been pretty packed with rushing project meetings, IG retreat bbq, LG outing, LG farewell gift preparations etc. Not quite looking forward to school starting BUT FACE IT. TWO MORE MONTHS TO GO AND I'LL BE DONE FOR THIS SEMESTER! Wahahaha. I've been receiving a lot of good news from God even in the beginning of week! :D I thank God for not only being so prominent in my life, but also in the lives of many of my brothers and sisters :D It is just day 2 of the week and there are already many many testimonies to share and it really proves how God is really active in our lives!! Firstly, while I was praying about Hangzhou on the bus on Monday and prayed that God will really open and continue to open my doors of opportunities there. A minute after my prayers, I received a phone call from Ivan telling me that we're all accepted for Hangzhou after going through 2 rounds of phone interview with the Director of F&B and the General Manager!! Secondly, today I kind of asked God for approval for something I really want to do at that time but unsure if God is allowing me to do it and prayed that within 15 minutes if a group of more than 6 walk pass me, means God has approved me (at that time the area was just quiet with nobody). Within just 5 minutes literally a group of 6 walked pass me! :D Ivan was there and witnessed the entire thing and the both of us quivered- really happy and at the same time I thank God for Ivan has witnessed the presence of God ^_^ Thirdly, I received a super enthusiastic call from Candy whom just came back from her church camp and really shared with me her testimonies of the supernatural things that really took place in her life! It's amazing how God has brought her back to want a relationship with God even though she backslided for quite sometime and how God has spoken to her about His plans for her :') Fourthly, despite closing many doors of osip opportunities for Bong, God finally opened the door for him to Fairmont, Spa Department!!! I really thank God for this brother in Christ because he did so much of planning for osip and he didn't end up in Shanghai or Abu Dhabi and was nearly giving up on osip! Perhaps God has a plan for him in Fairmont? And lastly, as I was chatting with Ivan about how not motivated I am this semester, unlike in year 2 where my main motivation was osip. Even though I would still do my work but I was feeling quite dried and unmotivated whenever it comes to school work. But as I was thinking of how can I be motivated, God reminded me of last week's sermon, whereby we should not separate our emotions and attitude between work and church, because God is our ultimate boss everywhere. Be serious of the work you are doing because you are doing it for God. It felt as though God has prepared this sermon part of the reason being because God knew I wasn't motivated and was dreadful about sem 3.1. So many many things happened! God's divine presence is really so strong! God is everywhere and He is listening to every single thing. I can't help but feel enthusiastic and happy whenever I felt God's Presence. Awesome God! |
