   Labour Day, cafe hopped with bro and mom at Tiong Bahru cuz bro wanted to go Books Actually, and after hopping to 5 cafes there we still couldn't find seats. Lucky enough to spot a cakes cafe at the far end and managed to secure sofa seats hehehe. Sat there for more than 3 hours while I edit my resume, do my F&B synopsis and enjoyed my cakes and pies. I've got the hippiest mom ever, who accompanies bro and I to do our works while she plug onto my earpiece and watch her show on ipad. Hahaha love her max max. Advanced Mother's Day celebration at some Chinese restaurant at Park Royal Hotel with the fam, great enough this time was full attendance. Hehehe. 10 course meal that I could hardly ever squeezed all foods into my tummy, and after that just lie on my bed feeling nausea and unable to move that mom have to cook smelly chinese medicine for me. But still, that night was a really good night, sitting on table for 3 whole hours and having a good time together :] Overseas internship briefings, FAQs and talk by our seniors who went through really made my thoughts go round and round like a roller coaster. Many thinks that "IG confirm can get it" but hey, that's not true. I'm still really nervous and afraid of the interviews that I have to go through with sudden calls from overseas requesting for interview, skyping and etc etc. Just so many to be done to secure a placement for OSIP. That is equivalent to how much I need God's assurance just to calm me down while I go through all these.  HTM Orientation yesterday was a boomz! I really loved welcoming new freshies into the course :D Love how they are so full of energy, so enthusiastic and how they are willing to do whatever requests you ask them to do just for bonus points. Haha! Creative points for classes who are able to go through the 50cm range while linking their arms/ legs onto one another and almost all classes did it! I was the only station master for the Greece station and was really nervous from the start but thankfully I managed to survive through with the enthusiastic spirits of the freshies!Hahaha loved how they requested for bonus points and willing to do whatever requests I asked them to. :) Last orientation to be involved, and then up next will be stumped 2013, and then I'll be officially over from IG. Definitely gonna miss this.   :) |
