This week have been a pretty fruitful week, and I did not waste my last week of holiday staying at home and rot! Adventure Cove with Kelly, Ivan and Justin on Monday, love the snorkeling the most even though I was really a burden, struggling like crazy. Wine tasting and lunch with my dearest ex-maincomms (officially called ex), love the Moscato d'Asti the most because it is really the sweetest thing ever!
Clique chalet on Tuesday and Wednesday, night cycling from Costa sands to Simpang, and then to Gardens by the Bay. I can't believe I did it! Thank God we reached the chalet before the heavy rain starts pouring in! Drinking on the second night and I was totally embarrassed by what I have done. The extreme me can't even recall what happened just because I was too stupid the drink the Kings cup so quickly!! I woke up feeling remorseful and I nearly cried :( Must be the alcohol still not washed away. But I eventually made it to Bukit Timah with my classmates even though I stoned and took a long long time thinking why did I set my alarm at 6, 6.15 and 6.20am. Stupid them kept laughing at me cuz I whatsapped nonsense to them that night when I was unconscious. :( Throughout the whole trip to Bukit Timah I was the burden again, as we climbed onto the steepest and muddiest and slippery slopes I just cannot balance myself omg. But thank God we were all safe and sound! :D
LG tie dye session at Xinru's house!! Yesterday was girls power HAHA because only the girls turned up. Really had a lot of fun pre-testing with cloth, and then officially dipping in our $3.90 Hush Puppies tees into the 3 pails of coloured dye. John Jacks teaching at night in Axis, and even though I really couldn't understand what they were teaching (their accent is too strong!) but God is really awesome as the pastors administered to many people in the Auditorium, many of their hearts were touched!! Today's service is going to be Pastor John Jacks again, and I really hope I could understand what he was teaching this time!
Thinking through what I have done in the holidays, and what life was like before this holiday, I really felt the huge change in my lifestyle! There're just so many things that God has done to let me see in the other side of my life, the life that was once invincible to me because of the very fact that I hindered myself from overcoming the challenges and chose to go on the soft way. When I didn't believe in myself to touched the guitar, I did. When I couldn't believe myself in overcoming my fears and stop being a coward, God put me into many challenges, physically and mentally, and I managed to overcome them! When I didn't expect myself to witnessed the supernatural evidences of God, I did when I got baptised by the Holy Spirit, and seeing my really good friend being touched by God! And as I accepted the fact that if I hated someone I would avoid them for all I could, but hey, God could put a 360' change in my perspective of someone, and most importantly, to learn the basic foundation of love and acceptance. God is really... awesome :')
