Baked Curry Rice
Lunch with mom on last Sunday Morning at this Japanese coffee place @ Plaza Sing. Waited for an hour for this baked curry rice and mom raged at the staff. :O Poor staff. But food was food, I felt that it was worth the wait hehe.
Finally met up with this two girls last Friday evening after so many many months since our last mini gathering at SGH! Was a short one but it was a fruitful one cuz we updated each other with our lives ^_^ As usual, I took out my Polaroid filled with dust and took many many photos with them. Hahaha we even planned to meet each other again on our wedding days since Jun's going back China and off to US to study, and I guess after Feb, it will be a long long time till we meet again. :(
 
Decided to make sushi since I've got leftover short grain rice from my culi science dinner party project. My dad told me I could use the Korean seaweed at home (trusting that he was once a Japanese chef)and I bought all ingredients except seaweed. But it turned out to be the ultra thin seasoned seaweed meant for eating as a snack. -.- Clever me used two layer of seaweed and my end product looked ugly but still edible :D

Bro in law got a complimentary staycation at MBS from his company and the in-laws and us went over to explore. Hahaha was quite funny actually cuz I realise every in-laws gathering was either during Chinese New Year, or it will be during the couple's staycation. Felt quite cheated when mom bought mee siam from MBS toast box and it cost $8.50 while other places were sold at $5. The reality of MBS...
First week of Holiday is over, and this week I have been nua-ing at home non-stop. Guess I've got my ample rest and I have to start getting my butt out of the house. Many many things are undone, deadlines drawing nearer for projects, tests whatever. What is a holiday filled with assignments? I call it home school, not holidays.
Came across that song again from my iTunes, after a long long time.
Instead of an increased heartbeat with flushed memories, finally it was just an ordinary song for me, with a calmed yet faded memory. Yeap, life goes on, and so is mine. :) Trusting that since I am afraid to walk towards God alone, I would wait for one who would walk me to Him, someone who would hold my hand forever. |
